Yandex informs about the beginning of a beta test of the cross device conversion report in Yandex.Metrika.
It will help marketing experts to monitor devices, using which people enter a website. The report includes arranging by blocks: mobile devices only, desktops only or both devices. Each block covers all available metrics. With the new system dividing visitors according to both browsers and devices, their amount can be smaller than in other report types.
This option will allow marketing specialists to see what visitors are converted better: those using certain devices or several at once. Previously, the system has failed to recognize the same user who, at first, look at a product via a smartphone and then make a purchase from a desktop.
