Chrome has a new function of checking pages for SEO optimization

Google representatives reported that the Lighthouse extension for Chrome now has the function of SEO audit for websites.

This function lets specialists check any website’s SEO optimization parameters. It is necessary for determining ways of improving the website.

Since the tool is in Chrome, you can check not only public websites, but also those that function in beta mode or require user authorization.

There are two ways of using Lighthouse:

• directly through the Lighthouse extension for Chrome;
• through Developer Tools in Chrome Canary.
