Webmasters, advertisers, Mobile & Traffic. RACE 2017 has brought benefit to all participants of the affiliate marketing conference

On October 4-5, the international conference Russian Affiliate Congress (RACE) took place at Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre in Moscow. It is the sixth time experts and new-bees of affiliate industry come together.

40 speakers from various countries took part in the conference: Finland, Canada, the UK, India, and Russia. More than 600 people attended the event within 2 days.

The conference included three sections: Webmasters, Advertisers, and Mobile & Traffic. The experts gave up-to-date information in each of them.

In Webmasters section, the audience enjoyed:

  • CEO Convert Monster Anton Petrochenkov’s presentation on the ideal landing page: he informed about types of landing pages depending on the audience eagerness, ways of writing effective headings and what makes the conversion increase;

  • myTarget expert Slava Prokh’s presentation on new features in the service: out-stream native video advertising, audio advertising, banners and other creative things;

  • Development Director Buzzoola Kirill Balahtin’s presentation about native advertising. He also predicted that by 2020, a quarter of the online promotion budget would be allocated to the native advertising.

In Advertisers section, the biggest interest arose around the presentation of CEO ClickFroud Konstantin Novofastovskyi who presented real ways of combatting fraud traffic (control systems, bots, clickunder frauds and others).

In Mobile & Traffic section, Managing Director Inbox Marketing Daniil Silantyev shed light on the fact that the average check of gaming mailings surged over the promotional one by 15%. Besides, the number of redirections is even 2 times higher.

There also was CEO HumanVideo Vladimir Kobyakov who conducted a workshop on preproduction of successful video as one of trendy methods of online promotion of goods, services as well as brand image.

What happened outside the sections?

Apart from RACE, there was an expo zone where 14 companies were presented: PostRadar, Tekka Digital, Capitalist.net, Doubletrade, Rootpay, Inside, Collectcent, Cyberian.tech, AMarkets, Foreo, Unisender and others.

What is more, the conference sponsor, affiliate network ad1.ru, raffled the latest auto Hyundai Solaris II. Webmaster Sergey came out a winner. Also, due to ad1.ru, some attendees won MacBook Pro, two iPhones 7, and three Apple Watches!

“Arbitrage is always popular. At RACE, attendees found the answers to popular questions such as how to direct traffic? how to choose the right advertising platform? or how to create an interesting content? We are sure that these answers will be beneficial to visitors and bear fruit,” noted the event curator Anastasia Kulakova.

RACE was held by Smile-Expo, organizer of events and B2B conferences in Europe and CIS.
