Sticky footer doesn’t level site down in Google search results

According to the Google analyst Gary Illyes, the search engine doesn’t level sites with sticky footers down in search results.

However, sticky footers should be less obtrusive in order not to annoy visitors. A sticky footer is a site block at the bottom of the browser window that remains visible no matter in what direction you scroll.

Previously, another search engine representative John Mueller reported that Google also didn’t penalize sites for end-to-end texts and footer links placing.
