Google has rolled out a new feature to Local Finder

In summer, Google was testing an upgraded variant of Local Finder. Unlike its previous version, the new one shows whether a query is mentioned on the website. The testing ended successfully so that the upgraded Local Finder was launched. Today, it is available to all users.

The new line is located below all the information. It contains the phrase Their website mentions followed by the query.

According to the expert at Search Engine Roundtable, the new service proves that Google scans the content of local websites. It should be noted that previously, the company didn’t consider the content of the website to be an important factor in ranking. Moreover, the company didn’t list it in recommendations on how to boost the rating.
